Why is there a lending library at the Catholic Pastoral Centre?
The library supports the faith-formation work of the Catholic Church in Southern Alberta. We help to empower Catholics to follow Jesus’ teachings by providing resources to promote understanding of Church teaching, practices and tradition and to encourage and facilitate individual and community prayer and action for the common good.
What kind of materials can I borrow?
We have a small but focused collection of subjects from theology to saints, parish council handbooks to children’s stories. We have videos, and DVDs, audiocassettes and music CDs.
What are the loan periods?
Books, CDs and audiotapes: 4 weeks
Videos and DVDs: 1 week
Items may be renewed by telephone or email provided there are no holds against the title. Videos and DVDs may be booked in advance for parish.
Is it possible to do research in the library?

We have a journal collection for use in the library.
